Our Company

A History of Success

A History of Success

is the parent holding company for a diverse portfolio of manufacturing, construction, and industrial services businesses. We were founded by Michael Heisley in 1979 when he mortgaged his home and used the funds to buy his first company. Building on his legacy, we have grown into a broad and diverse organization with operations in 19 countries across five continents. In our earlier years, we focused on distressed investing.

Today, we look to acquire performing businesses that complement our existing operations. As a buy, hold, and build investor, we have owned many of our operations for over 30 years. A key factor in our growth is our commitment to reinvest earnings in support of both organic growth and new acquisitions. We also strive to retain the talented people in the companies that we acquire; we recognize that their diverse skill sets, product knowledge, and customer relationships have contributed to our success.

Woman-Owned Business

She has devoted more than 20 years to the growth and development of ’ diverse portfolio of companies and has extensive experience in operations, strategic planning, financial analysis, financing, and risk management. This certification allows us to become better partners to many of our clients by helping them to meet their supplier diversity requirements.
